NeuroSlice Product Launch
BRAINYak officially launched NeuroSlice at the Neuroscience Seminar Series, run by Neurosciences Victoria and held at the Howard Florey Institute. Scott Kolbe, BRAINYak's Design Director, gave a short presentation demonstrating just some of the benefits of the NeuroSlice model, and all members of the team were happy to take questions from the many research scientists and clinicians gathered.

BRAINYak RRR Experience
On the 1st October, BRAINYak members Mari Kondo and Emma Burrows appeared live on the Sunday radio show Einstein a Go Go, 3RRR's Live Science. Emma and Mari discussed the NeuroSlice product, neuroscience and neuroimaging and what exactly the experience of the Young Achievement Australia, Biotechnology Entrepreneur Program has given us so far. After looking at the product the radio presenters spent several minutes expressing near disbelief at the beauty of the brain images and went on to discuss the merits of being able to see and understand the internal parts of the body. BEP Trade Expo
Members of the BRAINYak team had a successful launch of NeuroSlice at the Biotechnology Entrepreneur Program (BEP) Trade Expo on the 15th of August. This was the first official showing of NeuroSlice, and we really enjoyed the experience of demonstrating NeuroSlice to the public. In addition, BRAINYak members were able to meet with other participants in the BEP to discuss our experiences with creating our own businesses. BRAINYak is thrilled that all companies in the BEP have universally interesting products and we wish all the other student companies well.
